Spraygrounds Revisited!

When Max was a baby and Mattie Rose still lived nearby we would take them to the Santee Sprayground. It was super fun and easy and cheap! The kids loved running through the water! I thought this week would be a good week to take another visit. I hadn't been in a few years (Lia had never been) and it's been nice and hot and sticky.

 

For some unknown reason Max decided he wanted to be grumpy today. Maybe it's the heat, maybe he's practicing with some teenage hormones, who knows! Anyway, he was less than cooperative so there are lots of pictures of Lia and maybe 2 of the back of his head.

 

We drove over with the Rockwoods and brought another little friend with us, too, whose mom just had twins! Max has a newfound appreciation for Calvin. He's very excited that he'll be starting kindergarten with Calvin in September. We also met the Baker girls there! I miss them so much!





 

 





We had fun I think. I was very irritated that they raised the entrance fee. It used to be only $3 per car and now it's $3 per car and $2 per kid. It was a little more pricey than we had anticipated! And we would have been more prepared had they stated that on their website. LAME! Live and learn!
