Max has found his love of the ocean that was temporarily lost last at the beginning of the summer. Tyler and I like to take the kids down to the beach on a Sunday afternoon and have a picnic. Max usually ends up in his underwear running in the waves and having the time of his life. Lia loves the water, too. She's a total beach fanatic like the rest of us. She loves the sand and eats it in fistfuls. She loves the water and splashing and crawling around in it. La Jolla Shores is an awesome beach for kids since it's so shallow for a ways out. The waves kind of roll in gently making it a great place to let kids wade and play.
We love living near the beach and are constantly saying how we don't think we could ever live away from it. And it looks like our kids have the same feelings.
