We finally made one of Lia's dreams come true! We fed the giraffes at the Zoo! Lia's most favorite animal in the whole world is the giraffe. She's loved them ever since she was a little baby. She was beyond excited when we told her we could actually feed them. So so happy we got to do this!!
They walked right over as soon as they saw people lining up along the fence. They for sure knew they were getting some biscuits.
Max was all smiles when he was feeding the smaller one and then had a bit of a panic attack when he had to feed the really tall one. Tyler tried to coax him forward but he was starting to make a scene so we just let him go back to the smaller one.
We also saw a peacock strutting around all full of himself until Lia pretty much grabbed his tail and he ran as fast as he could.
We also saw these little guys. Another favorite. It's as if he knew where the perfect backlighting was and stood there just for me.
And then Lia climbed up onto the bear statue and said, "Look mom! This bear made me dead!" and laid like that with her tongue hanging out.
