Last Day of School!

Max had his first last day of school! He got to have a picnic with the rest of the school at a park and play games and have fun. I could have gone but with the move happening the weekend before it was just way too crazy to go. He didn't seem to mind! He had told me all year he didn't want me going on his field trips. Am I that embarrassing to him already? Hmm...

This is the photo I wanted to share. A side by side comparing his first and last day of kindergarten. I didn't realize how much he had changed but looking at these two photos makes it very apparent. He was just a little baby when he started and he looks so grown up to me now! This year just flew by.

Here are a few more I snapped of him on the last day, too. This is in front of the new house.

 

He still has orange popsicle on his face in these from the picnic that day that he insisted I leave on his face to remind him of the fun. That night we went and had ice cream at Dairy Queen to celebrate. He thought it was awesome that he could get a blizzard (they have kids sizes now!)
