This was also the summer we learned that for Bob, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I've never ever seen him go to the beach so much!! It was awesome! He took the girls mostly (Max had started school by then) almost every morning to go "surfing" which was really boogie boarding. I swear, he lived a few miles from the beach for years and never went as many times as he did in the last two weeks of summer hew as visiting!! So fun!
