Lia is FOUR!

It's hard to believe my baby is 4. FOUR! Oh this spunky little thing! She was born with a giant bubbly sweet spunky personality and it continues to shine the older she gets. She's still an animal lover, obsessed with dogs and kitties and horses. She's as smart as a whip and soaks up any and all knowledge from anywhere. She still loves her "cute little daddy father" and gives her brother hugs and kisses as often as he'll let her. She loves watching anything on TV but her favorites right now are "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" and "Martha Speaks." Oh we love her so so much. She's such a bright shiny spot in our little family!

 

 

 

We were lucky to have my dad and Margaret here visiting for Lia's birthday this year! I feel kind of bad that she still hasn't had a birthday party but I'm thinking I may throw her one in the spring! We celebrated with my dad though and she LOVED the attention! Plus, my dad came through BIG TIME with her birthday present -- Baby Butterscotch!! And she also got a real life Dave (her imaginary mouse friend) and so much American Girl doll stuff!

 

 

For lunch we took her for sushi -- her choice -- where she got "shrimp on a stick" (what she calls shrimp tempura) and miso soup. Then she got her nails done and she was in heaven!! We ended the day with cupcakes and ice cream decorated with gummy bears.

 

A few days later we went to the zoo -- Lia's favorite place! She LOVES the zoo. We did the bus tour and saw the gorillas (my favorite) where we had the unique and slightly terrifying experience of one of the gorillas suddenly pounding on the glass and staring right into our eyes with this crazy eyed expression. It was pretty amazing!

 

 

 

 

This little girl is so full of life and fun! She got totally spoiled with birthday presents and love, just like birthdays should be. We sure do love you Lia Rosita!!
