Warning: this post has a LOT of photos. It was hard to pick just one! (Also, I'm bummed at how flickr compresses these files -- some warmth and brightness have been lost but I assure you, they are gorgeous!)

The Kids
I had been meaning to do this all summer and finally got around to it late into the fall! I love how these turned out and have already printed two large ones and hung them in the house. These two are quite the pair! They sure do love each other and I'm thankful for that. Max takes care of his little sister and Lia loves her brother fiercely. I'm so grateful for these two crazies!

Thanksgiving!
Not only were my dad and Margaret here for Lia's birthday but they also celebrated Thanksgiving with us, too! We had a traditional turkey meal, roasted to perfection (if I do say so myself) and all the fixings plus a classic Italian baked macaroni with a delicious meat sauce. It really was delicious!!
We had a great time with my dad and Margaret. The kids LOVED having them here. And for weeks before they came Lia talked non-stop about how she couldn't wait for Margaret to get here!! And she had no trouble snuggling right up with both of them. And my dad even put Christmas lights on the outside of our house for us! And did some other little fix-it things inside the house, too. If only he lived closer and could do it all the time!
