Max and Papa

I am loving the bond that is forming between these two. I didn't grow up with a grandfather. My mom's dad died when she was only 2 years old and my dad's dad left the US before my sister was born and we didn't see him again until I was in high school. What a blessing that my children have THREE grandfathers in their lives!

When went on our quick trip up to the Bay Area, Tyler's dad took Max fishing and started reading him Where The Red Fern Grows -- a favorite of Kevin's. SO sweet! Since they didn't finish the book, Kevin has been reading to Max over FaceTime. Max drops anything and everything he is doing to listen to Papa read! It seriously is the sweetest thing.
