(totally his idea for a pose)
Max is getting to do a lot of "firsts" this year! There were so many things we were waiting to do when he turned 5 and now that he finally is he's getting to do, like, real kid stuff. Thanks to grammie and papa Max is now on an AYSO soccer team. He has his first game on September 10th and he's SOO excited!! He was a little disappointed at his first practice when I told him that it was his team and he wouldn't be playing another team yet.
They voted on a team name: The Bumblebees (their uniforms are yellow and black).
He takes soccer very seriously. Tyler took him out on a daddy date night and they went and played a little in a park and Tyler gave him some great pointers. He tries SO hard to not use his hands (and I have to say, he does the best at it on his team). He does not give up on that ball! He doesn't let the taller kids push him around. He's learning good ball control, too.
I'm super excited to see his first game! I know I shouldn't expect much, but still. He's going to be so dang cute in that little uniform!!

ha ha that pose is just too much. are his games all on saturdays? i need to plan a visit!
